Bill grew up in Lakeville MN and graduated from Rosemount High School in 1994. He has served in the military since he was 17 when he joined the Minnesota Army National Guard. In 1998 he joined that active Army and served for 3 years at Ft. Campbell, KY with the 101st Airborne Division. While serving with Army he graduated from Air Assault School in 1999 along with obtaining his Expert Infantryman’s Badge. In 2000 he graduated from Airborne and Ranger School and left the active Army in 2001. Bill returned to Minnesota where he was a recruiter for the Minnesota Army National Guard. In 2004 he joined Butler & Associates Insurance Agency. Since that time Bill has worked with his parents to build Butler & Associates into an agency that uses their relationships with insurance carriers to leverage quality insurance products and services for their clients.
